The Lobby

A calm, inviting reception and large waiting area will be stocked with refreshments and TV’s
and staff will be on hand to welcome and guide all clients and patients to their appointments.

Food Pantry

Storage for twice as much inventory, a walk-in cooler/freezer, a dedicated entrance, two walk-up windows, space for 10
households to line up inside, and a large workspace for staff and volunteers.

Medical Team Room

A dedicated Medical Team shared office space will enable the team to provide better coordinated care for patients.
Double the number of medical exam rooms and modern healthcare equipment will allow our teams to see more
people and help with more of their problems.

Office Space

Greater office space for every department, including Case Management, the Medical Team, the Behavioral
Health Team, and the Administration and Advancement teams will enable all staff to communicate, integrate, and collaborate more effectively.

Exterior

With increased parking for visitors and thoughtful landscaping, the center will offer an inviting, neighborhood feel.
A glass-door entrance and an array of exterior windows adds to the welcoming ambiance.

Benefits of a New Center

Ritter Center now owns the building at 800 A Street and is raising funds to renovate the interior to be able to expand our services and increase our capacity to provide critical support to meet the physical, mental health, and social support needs of our most vulnerable community members.

Our Progress

This is the most ambitious and transformative project in our history, with a total cost of $14.5M. Ritter Center's Campaign Cabinet is raising funds to cover the cost of the project through its Building Hope, Healing Lives Capital Campaign!

The new center is centrally located and close to our partners, including

St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Center for Domestic Peace, and Vivalon's Healthy Aging Campus.

Our services, including our food pantry, will be within walking distance for our neighbors in need.
